It amazes me the type of information which is classified as "breaking", "exclusive" or "create your own buzz word here"! Since the snow "event", which occured over the northeast this past week, the following is a short list of "tips" my husband and I have been priveleged to hear. It creates a deep fear in me to think someone would actually have to point out this obvious list of information. Please enjoy!
1. (MY favorite!) There is less snow on the road if you follow the plow!
2. The secondary roads have more snow on them then the main roads and highways.
3. Don't "chop" at the ice on your windshield, scrape it with your iceSCRAPER.
4. Check in on your elderly neighbors, and don't ask for money if you shovel their snow!
5. Don't leave the house unless you have to (of course, as a newcaster, I presume his or her presence on the highway is a necessity! Especially since I can't observe the snow from my own window!)
And this concludes our news day...
